AC7-1 arrived on-scene of a 2 story dwelling with normal conditions from the exterior. Upon opening the front door to begin investigation AC7-1 found black smoke pushing from the front door with moderate smoke on all floors. E7-2 w/5 laid a supply line and arrived stretching a line finding a small fire in the basement extinguishing the same within minutes. Mutual aid companies put a back up line in place at the top of the basement, and completed searches. AC7-1 had the command.
