2008 JR MEMBER TRAINING ACADEMY
The Jr Member Firefighter Training Academy is tentatively scheduled for July 27th - August 2nd 2008.

NEW SIGNS ON MAIN STREET
JUNE 11th - The signs are now in place. The Jr. members adopt a highway program started on April 21st. Look for the signs placed along Main Street Fayetteville.

LITTER CREW AT WORK
April 22nd - On April 21st, the Junior members and other members of the department gathered litter from Main Street , Fayetteville during their 1st event with the Adopt A Highway Program. Job well done.

FVFD JUNIOR MEMBER ADOPT A HIGHWAY PROGRAM
The Junior member Adopt A Highway Program starts April 21st at 8:00am. Members that are interested in helping the Junior Members with this program are to meet in the community building at the above date and time. Main Street, Fayetteville will have signs erected in memory of Chief James W Cutchall. The original kickoff was sponsored by State Representative Rob Kauffman.
STATE GRANT
The Jr. members have received a state grant for the purchasing of pagers and training material to be used by all Jr. members of the department.
DONATIONS RECEIVED
The Jr. members have received 2 computers from Wal-mart and 1 from The Pet Store as donations and all are networked in the Jr. member training room in the station.
FREE INTERNET SERVICE
The Jr. members received 1 year free internet service through Embarq.
MEMBERSHIP
The Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department is now accepting applications for Jr. membership. The Jr. members range from 14 to 17 years of age. Our Jr. members are the future of the department. Any boy or girl interested in Jr. membership may apply at the fire station.
