HOUSE FIRE

HOUSE FIRE-  AT 1:58 PM the Fayetteville Fire Department was alerted to 8202 Lincoln Way East for a house fire.  Engine 7-1 arrived on the scene and found a 2 story single family home with fire showing and possible entrapment.  Engine 7-1’s crew with Sergeant 7 having fire attack group made an aggressive primary search and interior attack.  Captain 7 arrived on the scene and established Command 7.  Additional crews arrived and assisted with primary and secondary searches which proved negative and also pulled additional lines.  Due to deteriorating conditions and crews unable to make any advancement all crews were evacuated from the structure and operations were moved to defensive mode.  Extensive overhaul was conducted and crews went in service shortly before 7:00 PM.   Great Job by All Departments Involved!
