FIELD FIRE- At 11:04 AM the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to 4290 Black Gap Road for a Brush Fire. While units were responding they could see from miles away a large plume of black smoke coming from that location. Engine 7-1, Engine 7-2, Brush 7, and the Fire Chief responded and shortly after response Chief 7 requested additional units. Special Unit 44, Engine Company 13, and Tanker 52 responded to assist with extinguishment. Crews worked quickly containing the fire without it spreading to an adjacent lot and house. Command 7 released crews shortly before 12:00 PM.
