BUSY DAY FOR THE VILLE

May 6th turned out to be a busy day for ‘The Ville’. Beginning at 0121 hrs Engine 7-1 with 6 personnel responded to 1561 Buchanan Trail East in Antrim Township to assist on the building fire. Engine 7-1 dropped of their crew at the scene and went to establish a water supply to fill tankers at the intersection of Buchanan Trail and Antrim Church Road. Engine 7-1 cleared around 0900. At 1018 hrs Squad 7 with 5 personnel responded the 1000 block of Crottlestown Road for a wood shop on fire. The Squad crew assisted with extinguishment and overhaul ops before being placed in service. While we were working at the wood shop fire, Co 7 was alerted for a brush fire at 1038 hrs at 1593 Walker Road. Then at 1259 hrs Squad 7 with four personnel responded to 1424 Duron Drive for an animal rescue and at 1624 hrs Duty 7 with two personnel responded to 236 Waverly Court for a medical assist. At 1637 hrs Engine 7-1, 7-2, Squad 7 and an Ambulance responded to 14 Elm Street in the Boro of Mont Alto for a working house fire. Personnel assisted with extinguishment and overhaul ops before being released by command 5.
