Lucus II Devices

New Equipment has been added to the EMS units at Fayetteville. The Lucas II Devices that assist in CPR have been placed in service.

The 2011 BLS Protocol Updates take effect on 7/1/2011.  All services in the commonwealth are required to adhere to the new protocols.  It is highly recommended by the EHSF and Department of Health that all certified EMS practicioners in the state take the online protocol update courses.  These can be accessed via the LMS site.  Instruct members to visit www.paprepared.com and CREATE AN ACCOUNT if they don't already have one.  From there they will have to go to the area of the site that says, "ALL COURSES AVAILABLE".  From there they will see the link for the 2011 Statewide BLS Protocol Update.
